Our History: Table where law abolishing slavery signed in London, UK

While visiting London during the Queen’s funeral last year, I had the opportunity to visit the Museum of London Docklands. Admission was free, but I gave a donation.

There I witnessed a grand exhibit that placed Blacks in historical perspective.




After taking a private tour, my attention was placed on the table where the law to abolish slavery in England was signed. None of the nearly 20,000 slaves who lived in London in 1833 were seated at the table, however.
