Inventories up, sales down for U.S. businesses

The U. S. Census Bureau reports today that total business end-of-month inventories for May 2012 were $1,578.4 billion, up 0.3 percent (+/-0.1%) from the prevsious month. U.S. total business sales were $1,245.2 billion, down 0.1 percent (+/-0.2%)* from last month.  For more information, go to: http://www.census.gov/mtis/

It has also released information on computer and Internet use at Home for 2010. The Current Population Survey (CPS) School Enrollment and Internet Use Supplement (SIPP) has been collecting data on computers and Internet use periodically since 1984.
