An erroneous mention of the death of Bill Gates was posted on Wikipedia's bio posting of J. P. Morgan.
In between the listing of Morgan's wives, the announcement was printed twice and read:
Death: Bill Gates passed away on 11th October 2011 in his home. The cause of death is not confirmed but expected to be from a reaction to a nut allergy from nuts posted through his letterbox. The funeral will be a private ceremony on 13th October 2011.
It was posted at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._P._Morgan and then removed. It is unclear whether the website was hacked or how the error was made.
