Sisters of the USA,

During this DNC, I have renewed my patriotism, courage, and creative resolve to help my country and our president move forward.

And so...

If Tammy Duckworth can stand up on two prosthetic legs and dream  dreams for President Obama, so can I.

If Gabby Giffords can pledge her liberty, walk after a major brain injury, and stand up for President Obama, so can I.

If Caroline Kennedy, sacrificing a daughter's love after losing a father, can speak up for President Obama, so can I.

If Zoe Lihn can endure multiple heart surgeries and toddle for Barack Obama, so can I.

If Sandra Fluke can uphold her composure when verbal arrows are thrown and campaign for President Obama, so can I.

If Jennifer Granholm can fire up a crowd for President Obama, so can I.

If Eva Longoria can strut across a stage in six inch heels to sing the praises of President Obama, so can I.

If Jill Biden can support her outspoken, vice president husband and uphold President Obama, so can I.

If college student Angie Flores can smile in the midst of student loans and seek out President Obama, so can I.

If a mother of a dead soldier killed in Afghanistan can read her last letter to him in tribute of President Obama, then so can I.
