Cobb Superintendent to speak at Democratic Women meeting

Dr. Michael Hinojosa, the new Cobb County Superintendent of Schools, will be the guest speaker at the Cobb Democratic Women's monthly meeting on Thursday, September 8 between 6 - 8 p.m. The meeting will be held at Scalini's Restaurant, 2390 Cobb Parkway SE in Smyrna, Ga.

"Come learn the latest on education in our Cobb County schools, and bring a friend!" said RuthE Levy, organization chairwoman.

The organization will also be collecting school supplies to be donated to children at the YMCA Battered Women's Shelter. Needed school items include paper, pencils, notebooks, gently used dictionaries, and working TI calculators.
