Chase and NACA renew relationship to stop foreclosures

Bruce Marks, CEO of the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA), sent Chase mortgage loan homeowners a congratulations message tonight regarding NACA's recent initiatives to stop foreclosures.

This move was made a week after many homeowners received property assessments which showed a decrease in housing values due to the recession and other economic factors. According to the Los Angeles County Assessor's Office, "Decline-in-value reassessments are not permanent, but last at least one year."

NACA is working with Chase to help provide homeowners affordable mortgage loan modifications. For more information, go to NACA's website at https://www.naca.com/index_main.jsp.

Homeowners facing foreclosure can also attend U.S. Housing and Urban Development workshops. For more information, go to http://portal.hud.gov/hudportal/HUD. (PHOTO: HUD "Sustainable Homeownership" Foreclosure Prevention Workshop In Atlanta)
